“Amilar \u0406C” – a combined drug for sore throat treatment, which includes a broad-spectrum antiseptic dequalinium chloride and a local anesthetic – dibucaine.
On the market “Amilar \u0406C” is available in three flavor varieties: with mint, cherry and orange flavor.<\/p>\n

The drug is indicated for the treatment of acute infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat, as gingivitis, ulcerative and aphthous stomatitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis and pharyngitis; in mixed infections of the mouth and throat. As an auxiliary drug “Amilar \u0406C” can be taken at catarrhal and lacunar angina, angina Plaut – Vincent, as well as candidiasis of the oral cavity and pharynx.<\/p>\n

Local anesthetizing and bactericidal action of the preparation allows to use it in the postoperative period after removal of the tonsils or teeth. “Amilar \u0406C” eliminates pain after surgery and does not allow to develop infectious complications. In addition, an antimicrobial and fungistatic activity of “Amilar \u0406C” make it usesful in helping to get rid of bad breath.<\/p>\n

Antiseptic effect of “Amilar \u0406C” applies to most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria as well as spirochetes and fungi (in particular the genus Candida) causing the mixed-infectious inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx. “Amilar \u0406C” shows a slight local anesthetic effect, so that the drug is not only struggling with microbes, but also eases the pain syndrome, which is a frequent companion of most infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx.<\/p>\n

Despite the wide range of actions, that make up the components of the preparation, it has only a local effect and does not enter the systemic circulation, and hence – have no effect on the entire body. In addition, “Amilar \u0406C” contains no sugar and can be used by patients with diabetes. Due to the lack of sugar, drug do not contribute to the development of caries.<\/p>\n
