From 11 to 14 July XIV International swimming competition among the disabled was held in Odessa, organized by the Odessa Regional Sports Federation of Persons with Disabilities with impaired mental and physical development. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of the founder of the Federation – Tamara Maricheva. The company “InterHim” provided financial support for this socially significant events in the life of the city.
International swimming competition among the disabled held in Odessa since 1999. According to the organizers, their goal – it is a social and psychological adaptation of people with disabilities, promoting their achievements. The number of participants is growing. This year in Odessa, arrived more than 80 sportsmen from Ukraine, Russia, Poland and Transdniestria.
