The tournament was attended by twenty athletes from different regions of the country who competed in several age and weight categories. Championship aims to promote parataekwondo in Ukraine. With this sport people with disabilities can show strength and courage, will and desire to overcome their illness. This is especially important for teens with disabilities, because through sport they can realize themselves.
At competitions attended two-time parathekvondo world champion Victoria Marchuk. During the opening ceremony of the tournament titled athlete awarded a certificate for a first degree black belt on behalf of the Taekwondo Federation of Ukraine. This time she did not fight for medals, and express herself just as an assistant coach, as in the weight category up to 49 kg for her there were no rivals. 
More than a decade Victoria suffers from constant pain in the right and only shoulder joint. When “InterChem” company learned that an athlete needs treatment, it allocates charitable aid to the necessary operation at the clinic “ATOC” (Munich, Germany).
The champion from Zaporozhye has a difficult fate. She – a disabled child. Parents abandoned the girl, and she had to live in a boarding school. Despite the diagnosis – a malformation of the upper extremities – Victoria become a professional sportsman. In 2012 taekwondist successful debuted at the World Cup in the city of Santa Cruz (Aruba), and won the gold medal.
This year, she repeated her success in Switzerland, and has been recognized as the best female athlete of the tournament and was awarded the State Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Now she is attended college in Zaporozhye and preparing for new competitions.
“Taekwondo for me – it is a chance to achieve something in life,” – says Victoria.
