In Barcelona, ​​October 4-6, hosted the annual international exhibition in the field of pharmaceuticals – CPhI Worldwide 2016. It is the largest event in the pharmaceutical world, uniting five industry events that cover all aspects of the pharmaceutical market. This year the exhibition has gathered under one roof more than 2,500 exhibitors and 37,000 professionals in the pharmaceutical industry from 150 countries. And it’s a new record, indicating the rapid development of the industry worldwide.

Ukraine has a history of involvement in such activities. 14 years ago, our country was represented by one company, and now their products at CPhI Worldwide is exposed to almost all manufacturers – leaders of the pharmaceutical industry. «InterChem» company presented the exposition this year also.

CPhI Worldwide in 2016 became a landmark for our country: for the first time as part of this global event was raised «Ukrainian question» – about the prospects for integration of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry into a common European economic space.

Panel discussion “European vector of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry: challenges and opportunities” was the first public discussion of international issues of harmonization of Ukrainian and European legislation, the export potential, as well as the possible risks of Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry.
