Student choir Cherkassy Music School named after Gulak-Artyomovsky with the support of “InterChem” represented Ukraine in the VII International festival-contest of choral music «SLOVAKIA CANTAT 2013″ held on 25-28 April in Bratislava, and won two gold awards and the Grand Prix of the prestigious international festival.
The team performed in academic and folk categories. A particular melody and touching of Ukrainian folk songs, highly professional talented performance, emotion, sincerity, an outstanding program left no one indifferent. Among the 32 choirs from 14 countries Student Choir of Cherkasy musical school was recognized as the best!

Victory of Cherkasy singers in the international festival-contest – a significant event! Music festivals – a kind of platform on which the performers not only demonstrate their talent, but also share their experience, an opportunity for cultural exchange. Participation of Ukrainian teams in international competitions of musical art plays an important role in the preservation and development of our national culture.
