Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko visited “InterChem”

July 12 Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko visited the company “InterHim” during his working visit to Odessa. During a visit to the plant “InterChem” CEO Anatoly Reder briefed the delegation on the work of section of production of finished drugs and the progress of scale project of the development of enterprise  – construction of a new production and laboratory-research complex.

Konstantin Grishchenko also took part in the transfer of the free party of tableted morphine and other painkillers, which produces “InterChem”, for Ukrainian Ministry of Health for the hospice and palliative care hospitals in different regions of Ukraine. The ceremony was attended by the governor of the Odessa region Eduard Matviychuk, Deputy Minister of Health Roman Bogachev and Chairman of the “Ukrainian league to promote the development of palliative and hospice care” Vasiliy Kniazevych.

Anatoly Reder said that today “InterChem” almost fully prepared to satisfy the needs of palliative patients in preparations, which can bring them relief and to enable a decent life: “For us, morphine is not commercial, but rather social drug.”

Today in Ukraine is carried out systematic work to enhance and simplify the availability of narcotic drugs, including opioid analgesics, for seriously ill patients. This is particularly important for patients from the countryside, where access to adequate medical assistance is often the most difficult.

“Today we are implementing European standards in many areas, including in the field of pharmacology. For us it is crucial to produce more medication in Ukraine and on such modern platforms, as “InterChem.” We are sure that the output is the highest quality products that will truly help heal people. Features of introduction of modern and humane approach in all spheres of life is our priority”, – summed up the vice-prime minister.
