“InterChem” congratulates Student Choir of Cherkassy Music School named after Gulak-Artyomovsky with a new international victory! In April 2013, the team has already won the Grand Prix at the VII festival-contest of choral music «SLOVAKIA CANTAT 2013″ held in Bratislava. This fall, “InterChem” again supported musicians in their wish to represent our country at the next prestigious cultural event. From 31 October to 3 November was held the 27th International Choral Competition «PRAGA CANTAT-2013″. In Prague, the Ukrainians became the best in their category and received the Gold Cup. And the artistic director of the musicians Natalia Shmareva-Gozhaya, was named the best conductor.

“Thanks to this capability, we have shown that Ukraine – a country with a strong cultural and national traditions, which are come from the depth of its long history,” – said the head of the choir.

The contest was held in the concert hall of the National House. Its members was greeted by Mayor of Prague. Members of the international jury from Japan, Austria, the Czech Republic were stunned by the performance of Ukrainians. The representative of Italy Felix Rich, rector of the conservatory in Bolzano, did not hide his admiration: “The difficult fate of the people embodied in the music. Powerful voices conveying a wide range, emotional verges – great performance!”.

Bright victory in the competition, which is attended by more than 20 choirs from various countries indicates that world is interested in our culture. “Each performance, each Cossack whoop caused such an incredible charm not only among Europeans, but even the Japanese and Indonesians. I was moved and very proud that in Ukraine there is a song that fascinates “- shared his impressions actor of the choir Victor Orlenko.
