InterChem SLC performs chemical analysis of drinking, purified, wastewater, and artesian water, as well as of chemical products, food, and fertilizers.

In 1994, InterChem established a Testing Laboratory, which in 1997 received its first accreditation within the State Standardization System of Ukraine. Today, the laboratory is certified by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine through the Odesa Regional Center for Standardization, Metrology, and Certification.

Certificate No. 04 — 0017/2024 dated May 16, 2024.

Laboratory Capabilities

According to its accreditation scope, the Testing Laboratory offers:

  • Testing of fresh fruit and vegetable products for nitrate and toxic substance content, including lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium.

  • Physicochemical testing of drinking, purified, and wastewater.

  • Analysis of mineral fertilizers (potassium, nitrogen, phosphorus, complex, and compound types).

  • Analysis of nickel ores.

Quality System

As across the entire enterprise, the Testing Laboratory operates under a comprehensive internal quality management system, developed in accordance with DSTU ISO 9000:2015, DSTU ISO 9001:2015, DSTU ISO 9004:2018, DSTU ISO 10012:2005, and ISO/TR 10013:2003 standards. InterChem SLC conducts regular internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

By participating in interlaboratory comparison tests, the laboratory has repeatedly confirmed its high competence, reliability, and independence within the accreditation systems of UkrSEPRO, the State Standardization System of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.

Its quality system ensures the accuracy, precision, and reliability of all analyses. The use of computer-based data processing, recording, and storage guarantees data integrity and fast access to results. All information on reagents, calibration, certification, and equipment maintenance is recorded and monitored, ensuring uninterrupted laboratory processes and consistent results.

Personnel

The Testing Laboratory employs highly qualified specialists with strong expertise in analytical control of environmental samples, fertilizers, fruit and vegetable products, chemical raw materials, and ores. All staff possess specialized higher education in analytical chemistry and continuously refine their professional skills. Their dedication and competence ensure testing accuracy, reliability, and compliance with international standards.
