This year, the oldest university of Odessa and Southern Ukraine celebrates its 150th anniversary. The anniversary of the Odessa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov is a momentous event and a real feast for all the citizens of Odessa. On May 12 more than a hundred artists and student groups have made a gift native university – a five-hour concert on Deribasovskaya street.
Odessa National University named after II Mechnikov was established in 1865, over the half-century of work the university has produced more than a quarter million high-class specialists.
CEO “InterChem” Anatoliy Reder is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry ONU. “When our company was just beginning to work three out of five of its founders were graduates of ONU Mechnikov. Today, from 712 people who work in the company, more than 20% were students of the Odessa National University “, – said Anatoliy Reder at the solemn meeting of the Academic Council on the anniversary of the Alma Mater.
