The Ministry of Health of Ukraine announced the launch of a pilot project on control marking and monitoring of drug circulation. The order of the relevant ministry approved the list of its participants. InterChem has become one of 4 pharmaceutical manufacturers that will take part in the project.
The pilot project will be the first step towards the formation of a unified state system of 2D drug labeling, which will significantly reduce the risk of falsification of drugs. In total, 12 business entities will take part in the project. As planned by the Ministry of Health, this project will last until December 31, 2020, after which its results will be analyzed to disseminate this experience and introduce the mandatory 2D coding system for all entities of the pharmaceutical market.
