On March 19 the agency “Interfax-Ukraine” held a press conference with representatives of the “InterChem”, “Infusion” (Kiev) and independent experts. They publicly appealed to the Ministry of Health and professional associations with a request to investigate the facts of the illegal stopping of the State Medicine Service in Ukraine production of a number of drugs.
“Conflict between “InterChem” and State Medicine Service lasts at least two months”, – said the deputy general director Dmitry Pozigun. The company addressed with an official statement on this matter to the Minister of Health. “In our appeal we express serious concern about the actions State Medicine Service, the pressure that renders, actions that are illegal. The statement also referred to the request and requirement to take action in respect of acts of State Medicine Service officials aimed at obstructing the activities of “InterChem”, – emphasized Dmitry Pozigun.
Appeal of the company was supported by “Association of pharmaceutical manufacturers of Ukraine” (APMU) and “Union of protection of the rights and safety of patients.” Director of APMU Elena Alekseeva said that at a meeting of enterprises-members of the association was decided to conduct an independent objective expertise of the situation, which had been held by specialists from enterprises-members of associations and independent experts.
