24-25 May 2016 at the National University of Pharmacy in Kharkov was held a visiting session of the scientific department of Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, named “The current state of chemical research for medicine and ecology”. Participants of the meeting exchanged experiences and discussed the current issues concerning modern highly effective drugs and environmentally friendly chemical processes.
Within the session, the General Director of “InterChem” Anatoly Reder made a report “The experience of the chemical-pharmaceutical research and production association “Medfarmhim” on the creation and production of innovative medicines”. Also with the report on the topic “The structure, molecular mechanisms of action and properties of the ligands of benzodiazepine, serotonin, and fibrinogen receptor” made Academician of NASU, Director of the Physical-Chemical Institute named after Bogatsky, Sergey Andronati.
Visiting session ended with breakout sessions in areas of “Medicine” and “Ecology”. The delegation members of visiting session visited the Scientific and Technological Complex “Institute of Monocrystals” NAS of Ukraine (STC “IMC” NASU), where guests could get acquainted with the achievements of the institution in the modern perspective directions of chemical science.
