Deputy Health Minister of Ukraine Viktor Shafranskii convinced that the process of the production of medicines in Ukraine is at a high competitive level.
“Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies have always been focused on the development of the manufacturing process, allows to compete at a high level. I was pleasantly surprised that some domestic manufacturers do not just meet the requirements of GMP (good manufacturing practice), but also introduce technologies that are significantly ahead of even the European standards” – he said during a visit to the pharmaceutical enterprise “InterChem.”
V. Shafranskii had the opportunity to familiarize with modern pharmaceutical equipment from leading world manufacturers, modern engineering systems, providing air and water treatment processes in line with European requirements of pharmaceutical production and energy-saving technologies. In addition, the experts of “InterChem” demonstrated the equipment that allows to control the quality of products on-line and modern packaging lines with the individual coding of each manufactured packaging.
“The quality of the production of medicines, in which I had the opportunity to be convinced on an example of “InterChem”, allows to be optimistic about the development of such important areas as import substitution, localization of production of imported drugs in the country, which leads to lower costs and to more active output of Ukrainian pharmaceutical products to foreign markets“- concluded V. Shafransky.
